Most of us have experienced some level of burnout at one point or another. Maybe we’ve pushed ourselves too hard at work or taken on too many responsibilities outside of work. For me, I often don’t realise I’m burnt-out until it’s too late. I brush off the symptoms, until its too late, and I’m forced to take a break.
Whatever the cause, burnout can be a real drag. But what exactly is it? And how can you tell if you’re experiencing it? Burnout is a state of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. It can be caused by prolonged stress or by taking on too much, and if you start to notice ay of these symptoms it’s important to take a step back and assess your situation.
